Does anyone have a creepy house they remember from their childhood?

I do.

I grew up living in a creepy, old 19th-century farmhouse that many of my family members swear was haunted. Footsteps heard on the stairway, or sounds of footsteps walking from room-to-room on the upper floors. I often felt as though someone was watching me as others in my family have mentioned as well. There was an eerie painting of an old couple hanging on the wall in one of the bedrooms, which as a child I would not dare look at or venture past while in that room. Another scary thing to me as a child was that there were snakes around - copperheads. This is likely where I got my fear of snakes from, even to this day.

This is a drawing I made of the house on a first-generation iPad over 10 years ago. I will NOT be making any drawings of snakes though.
